As part of the refurbishment and modernisation of the Fritz Ulrich School in Heilbronn, a new wayfinding system was implemented, which is based on the building structure and interior design, as well as the overarching colour concept: A colour gradient from yellow to light green tones to sky blue runs through the buildings – clearly visible even from a distance.

The design of the signage is deliberately kept simple and bold, with neutral panels in the same dark colour as the school doors. Invisible fixings make them appear light and discreet. The signposts form a contrast to the large coloured numbering of the floors, which was painted directly onto the walls. The well thought-out wayfinding system ensures short routes into the rooms and thus contributes to a modern learning environment.
